Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Must be comfortable with potential emergency team assignments, which may require staying at the facility during emergency events or participating in relief teams as assigned by the unit manager.
Liver transplant experience is required (skill level 3 or 4 on skills checklist).
May scrub into other surgeries as needed.
No first-time travelers accepted.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
Minimum 5 years of First Assist experience, including experience within the last year
At least one completed travel assignment
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Transplant experience
