Registered Nurse - Rehab
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Join a dynamic multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team caring for patients recovering from stroke, hip fracture, pulmonary conditions, and more. Patients receive 24-hour medical monitoring and care while participating in rehab programs designed to improve functional ability and independence. The role involves working with advanced therapy equipment such as body weight support systems, treadmills, reaction time and visual processing devices, and simulation vehicles for patient training.
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
- Work schedule options include 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Holidays as required, every other weekend.
- Patient-facing role.
- Clinical position.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: Meditech.
- Dress code: Solid navy scrubs.
- Parking available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1 year of rehabilitation nursing experience within the last year
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross equivalent
Additional Information
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
- This is a patient-facing clinical role.
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
