Registered Nurse - PCU/Tele

Location: Dededo, Guam
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Position on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Telemetry unit with PCU level of care.
• Shift: Primarily one shift (day or night) assigned; no shift preference guaranteed.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; flexibility required.
• Holidays: Working holidays is mandatory; specific dates determined by unit needs.
• Overtime: Not guaranteed; at management discretion.
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:4-5.
• Floating: Must be willing to float within scope to Med-Surg and ED Tele overflow as needed. ICU float only within scope of practice.
• Locals: Candidates residing in Guam are not eligible.
• Passport: Must have a current US passport in hand.
• Travel: Flights are not reimbursed; plan accordingly.
• Schedule changes: Travelers have a 4-day window to switch or find coverage before schedule finalization.
• Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours with possible cancellation of up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Guam.
• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
