Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a Registered Nurse
Evening shifts primarily:
- 5x8 shifts (2:30pm - 11:00pm) OR
- Combination of 2x8 and 2x12 shifts (10:30am - 11:00pm / 2:30pm - 11:00pm)
Must be flexible with scheduling
In-house weekend rotation aligned with staff requirements
Call duties included for weekdays and weekends, distributed equitably
Evening shift requires weekend call (~24 hours per 4-week period)
Night shift has minimal weekend call

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, and Transplant nursing experience
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
