Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel/Contract

Location: Solomons, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM (flexible)
Patient Ratio: 7-10 patients per day
Charting Systems: NetHealth and Point Click Care
Weekend/On-Call: Not required
Floating: No
Locals Accepted: Yes

Required Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Maryland
• Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency Contact Form (prior to start)
• Background Checks (within 1 year, including SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
• Physical Exam (within 1 year)
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (within 1 year)
• Immunizations or Titers for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Drug Screening: 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination (required during flu season, Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Professional References:

  • 2 for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care
  • 1 for Per Diem Non-Acute Care
• Skills Checklist (annual requirement)
• Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
