Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Amarillo, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

Patient population: Mixed med/surg and intermediate care patients
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 to 1:6 depending on shift assignment
Shift options: 36 or 48 hour shifts, days

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Chemotherapy certification
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
National Tech Certification Verification
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
