Registered Nurse (LTAC/Telemetry) - Travel Assignment
Location: Lima, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel
Job Summary
Provide nursing care to patients in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and telemetry setting. Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. Delegate and supervise patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Long Term Acute Care experience, including experience within the last year
- Telemetry experience
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Contract Length
- Approximately 11 weeks.
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Must be able to provide documentation of certifications and licenses with application.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is implied but not specifically detailed.
