Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check (including sex offender and national databases)
• Education verification or diploma/transcript
• Advanced certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP)
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exams and other unit-specific competencies
• Physical exam and fit mask test within 12 months of start
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or vaccines)
  • Hepatitis B (positive titer or declination)
  • Varicella (titer or vaccines)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption/declination
  • COVID vaccination or declination documentation

Additional Notes

• Performance evaluations may be requested at assignment end
• Scrubs color is flexible; scrubs provided for OR personnel
• Charting system used: EPIC
• Parking available at a daily cost
• Candidates must complete facility-specific training modules and agreements prior to start
• Fit testing accommodations available onsite if needed (last resort)

This position is suitable for respiratory therapists with at least 2 years of experience, holding the appropriate Washington state license and RRT certification, who are comfortable with weekend shifts and floating within the hospital. First-time travel therapists are welcome to apply.
