Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Details

• Orientation occurs every Monday.
• Charting system: Meditech preferred but not required.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
• Float to other medical-surgical units as needed.
• Weekend shifts every other weekend.
• Patient ratio approximately 1:5-6.
• Telemetry experience required due to potential for remote telemetry monitoring.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP certification

Work Environment

• Float to other medical-surgical units as needed.
• Weekend shifts every other weekend.
• Potential for remote telemetry monitoring.

Summary

This is a travel Registered Nurse position in Medical-Surgical with a 13-week contract in Arizona. The role requires at least 1 year of recent Med-Surg experience with telemetry skills, current RN licensure, and BLS certification. ACLS is required as applicable. The position offers orientation every Monday and includes weekend shifts every other weekend. Prior travel experience is not required.
