Description

Registered Nurse - Endoscopy (Travel/Contract)

Location: Freehold, New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, working 5 days a week with 8-hour shifts
Call and float required
Call schedule: Approximately 3 weeknights every 4 weeks (3 PM - 7 AM) and 1-2 weekend 24-hour calls every 4 weeks
Weekends are call only
Average about 15 procedures per day across 2-3 rooms
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 15 patients
Scrub and circulate duties required
Holidays required depending on unit needs
Documentation and communication systems used: Epic, Omnicell, SBAR
Accepts first-time travelers
Scrubs provided

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Dysrhythmia competency exam passed
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
