Description

Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Schedule

  • ASAP start
  • Options for 5x8 hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certification
  • National Tech Certification verification
  • Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing (medication calculation and EKG competency exams)
  • State License 1 Verification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Orientation & Onboarding

  • Must attend Occupational Health appointment and Orientation prior to start
  • Orientation held weekly on Tuesdays
  • Several electronic forms and acknowledgments must be completed prior to documentation due date (cannot be handwritten)
  • Pass/Fail testing (medication and EKG) at orientation with study guides provided

Additional Notes

  • COVID vaccination is highly encouraged but not mandatory
  • Facility-specific certifications and requirements may apply depending on unit assignment
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

This position is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with ACLS certification and readiness to work in Interventional Radiology on a travel contract basis in Texas.
