Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Schedule

ASAP start
Options for 5x8 hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certification
National Tech Certification verification
Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing (medication calculation and EKG competency exams)
State License 1 Verification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Orientation & Onboarding

Must attend Occupational Health appointment and Orientation prior to start
Orientation held weekly on Tuesdays
Several electronic forms and acknowledgments must be completed prior to documentation due date (cannot be handwritten)
Pass/Fail testing (medication and EKG) at orientation with study guides provided

Additional Notes

COVID vaccination is highly encouraged but not mandatory
Facility-specific certifications and requirements may apply depending on unit assignment
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

This position is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with ACLS certification and readiness to work in Interventional Radiology on a travel contract basis in Texas.
