Job Opportunity: Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Description
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides direct care or influences care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but have an elevated risk for instability. The unit focuses on advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (required for moderate complexity testing)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing
- Basic EKG interpretation skills
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- This role involves working night shifts (NOC).
This position is suitable for RNs with advanced critical care skills looking to work in a progressive care setting.
