Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology

Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Schedule:

    • 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
    • Varied 8-hour shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
    • Weekends covered by rotating on-call among 6 to 7 staff members
    • On-call required after 5 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Neuro experience needed)


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year

Background and Compliance Requirements

  • 7-year background check within 12 months of start date, including alias and multi-state/county searches
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and every 30 days thereafter
  • Fingerprinting required if no proof of 12-month residency in state(s) where candidate has lived
  • Education verification of highest level completed (diplomas not accepted as placeholders)
  • Photo for badge with specific background and quality requirements
  • Completion of online orientation modules within 72 hours of assignment
  • Pre-assignment testing including medication and arrhythmia exams (time sensitive, 2 attempts max)
  • Pass/fail testing for EKG/medication required for RNs and certain tech roles
  • Annual competency exams and core training modules (Parts I, II, III) including OSHA and patient safety topics

Experience
