Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department. The role involves working primarily mid-shift 12-hour shifts (11a-11p, 1p-1a, or 3p-3a) with flexibility to meet department needs. Immediate start preferred with limited to no time off during the contract.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
Minimum of 4 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working in a Level 3 or higher trauma center
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
Experience with EPIC ASAP system
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
State License 1 Verification
NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
