Schedule & Shifts

• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period (subject to unit needs)
• On-call rotating, including hurricane pre/post or during coverage, and holiday coverage rotating
• No floating to other facilities

Specialty & Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Minimum 1 year of experience required in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs
• First-time travelers accepted
• Experience required with:

  • Xper recording platform
  • PACS system
  • Cardioversion, Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Study
  • Angioplasty and Stent placement
  • Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), Endovascular Interventions, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography
• Preferred experience with special equipment: Impella, Balloon Pump, CSI, Shockwave, Penumbra

Required Certifications

• ACLS (AHA Instructor or Provider; RQI accepted)
• BLS (AHA Instructor or Provider; RQI accepted)
• Flu vaccine required (Medical or Religious exemptions accepted with signed documentation)

Licensure

• Florida State or Compact license required at time of submission
• Pending licenses not accepted

Uniform

• Solid-colored scrubs only (matching top and bottom, no logos or prints)
• Travelers must purchase their own scrubs

Charting System

• Sunrise (no prior experience required)

Required Background & Compliance

• Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, updated annually
• Various federal and state background screenings required
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting accepted nationwide)
• Education verification required (certain institutions are not accepted)
• Physical exam within 6 months prior to start (required by Florida law for all patient-facing candidates)
• Fit mask test within 12 months prior to start (strict mask types and shaving policy)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months of start
• Required immunizations/titers within 5 years: Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (must include marijuana)
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (10/1-3/31)

Additional Requirements

• 2 professional references related to employment within 12 months prior to start
• Current application/resume dated within 90 days of start
• Clear, passport-style photo for badge
• Auto insurance required for home health (if applicable)
• Facility-specific documents including job description acknowledgement, confidentiality agreement, values, and badge form
• Radiation badge monitoring form required for Radiology and Cath Lab staff

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience working in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs
• Proficient in Cardioversion, Pacemaker Insertion, and Tilt Table Study procedures
• Skilled in Angioplasty and Stent placement
• Experienced with Dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms/declots) and Endovascular interventions
• Competent in Upper and Lower extremity angiography
• Current ACLS certification
