Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • PALS certification
  • NRP certification
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
  • NURSYS verification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Additional Information

  • Dress code for licensed nursing personnel: solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs (no print tops except in specific pediatric or women’s services units)
  • Free parking available in unrestricted employee/visitor lots
  • Must complete required facility and system-specific training modules annually via LMS platform
  • Floating policy acknowledgment required; may float to other nearby facilities
  • Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests required as applicable
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
