Registered Nurse (LTAC) - Travel Assignment

Location: Tampa, Florida
Employment Type: Travel


Job Summary

Provide nursing care to patients in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and telemetry setting. Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. Delegate and supervise patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Florida
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Minimum of 2 years LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse experience
  • Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Additional Notes

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
  • Must be able to provide documentation of licenses and certifications with application.
  • Experience working in LTAC or telemetry settings is implied.
