Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: Every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed
• Float: Required; all travelers may be floated between campuses as needed
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Unit: Inpatient rehabilitation department specializing in neurological diagnoses such as CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical, and generalized debility
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year acute care rehab experience preferred
• Travel Experience: No first-time travelers; prior travel experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience, including Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Rehabilitation experience
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Medication Administration Badge (MAB)
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Social Security Card
• Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Education verification (Associate degree in nursing or higher required)
• Transcript/Diploma copy (if applicable)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) or positive titers
  • Varicella or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B titer or declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
• Physical exam (if applicable)
• Fit mask test (annual, specific approved N95 respirators required)
• Fingerprinting (if applicable for home health or long-term care roles)

Additional Requirements

• Completion of mandatory health history form and facility-specific documents
• Review and sign floating policy and contractor equipment acknowledgment
• Completion of EPIC test with passing score prior to start
• Two supervisory references required (one within 12 months, one within 24 months)
• Employment application/resume with 7-year work history
• Verification of all employment within last 5 years

Important Notes

• The client has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and floating between units
• Pass/fail EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty
• No first-time travelers accepted for this assignment

This position is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with acute care rehab background and prior travel contract experience seeking a night shift travel assignment in neurological rehabilitation.
