Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Location: Mount Holly, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Floating assignment across multiple hospital locations within the region based on needs.
• Must have experience working in the Operating Room (OR) closely with the surgical team to ensure imaging accuracy and usefulness during surgery.
• Scheduled shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Required to operate and have experience with the following imaging equipment:

  • OEC C-arms
  • Ziehm C-arm
  • Siemens Cysto unit
  • GE Innova Vascular unit

Required Qualifications

• Valid X-Ray Technician license in New Jersey.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician, with experience within the last year.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience working in the Operating Room (OR) closely with the surgical team.

Certifications & Compliance Requirements

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on unit assignment.
• BLS certification must be current and valid.
• Completion of orientation and safety manuals.
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and federal exclusions.
• Drug screening (10 panel, excluding THC or with expanded panels).
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable.
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella titers or vaccination proof.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption.
• Physical exam within the last 12 months.
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation.
• Visual acuity exam (20/40 or better).
• Required documentation such as government-issued photo ID and proof of eligibility to work.

Additional Requirements

• Must submit Return to Office (RTO) documentation at time of application.
• Two professional references within the last 2 years.
• Employment application and skills checklist updated annually.
• Work history verification for at least 1 year prior to start date (New Jersey state mandate).

Uniform

• Olive or sage green scrubs required.

This position is ideal for Radiologic Technologists with OR experience who are flexible and able to work across multiple hospital sites within New Jersey.
