Position Details

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
• Required Certifications:

  • ARRT Mammography (M)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required Procedure Experience (HARD STOP)

Candidates must have experience with the following procedures:

• 3-D Mammography
• Diagnostic Mammograms
• Digital Mammography
• Fine Needle Aspiration
• Needle Localizations
• Screening Mammograms
• Stereotactic Biopsy

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in North Carolina
• Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT or ARRT Mammography (M) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with the following procedures:

  • 3-D Mammography
  • Diagnostic Mammograms
  • Digital Mammography
  • Fine Needle Aspiration
  • Needle Localizations
  • Stereotactic Biopsy

Health & Safety Requirements

• Flu vaccine is required; no exemptions or declinations accepted.
• Physical exam within 12 months of start date.
• Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) within 12 months of start date.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start date.
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine every 10 years.
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccination or positive antibody titers required; no exemptions accepted.
• Hepatitis B vaccination or titer documentation required.
• Varicella vaccination or positive titer required.
• Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen including THC within 30 days of start date.
• Polio vaccine or signed attestation required.

Background & Compliance

• I9 or attestation required.
• Driver’s license or government-issued photo ID required.
• Social Security card required if used for I9.
• Background check including SSN trace, alias searches, nationwide and international checks as applicable.
• Employment application and 7 years of work history required.
• Two professional references required from employment within 12 months of start, with at least one supervisor reference.
• Education verification required for Radiology/Cardiology specialties.

Additional Requirements

• Candidate must set up a guest account prior to clearance to access orientation and work systems.
• Pass/fail testing on basic tech knowledge at orientation (minimum passing score 80%).
• Competency exams and unit-specific training required.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training provided during orientation (valid for 2 years).
• Annual updates required for skills checklist and TB questionnaire.

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
