Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse
Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel contract assignment. The unit accepts first-time travelers.
Schedule & Work Details
- Weekend shifts: Every other weekend
- No on-call required
- Floating: Within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Holidays: If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the nurse is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall, both must be worked. If three major holidays fall, two must be worked.
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience as a Registered Nurse, with ICU experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
