Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Assignment may include being part of an "Emergency Team" with expectations to stay onsite during emergency events or serve on relief teams.
  • On-call required with a 30-minute response time.
  • Rotating weekends schedule.
  • Scrub experience required.
  • Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) experience required.
  • Candidates with 1 year of experience must have both neuro and scrub experience; otherwise, a minimum of 2 years' experience is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Louisiana.
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
  • Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience accepted if candidate has neuro IR and scrub experience; otherwise, minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required.
  • Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) experience.
  • Scrub experience required.

Additional Information

  • Candidates must be comfortable with emergency event assignments.
  • Fit mask testing required; can be completed onsite if necessary.
  • Employment application and skills checklist required.
  • Must be able to meet all background and health screening requirements prior to start.

Experience Requirements

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Interventional Radiology focus)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
  • 1 year experience accepted if candidate has neuro and scrub experience.
