Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Home Health

Location: Roseburg, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide, coordinate, and direct home nursing care according to physician orders and agency policies.
Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses.
Average patients per day: 5-8
Types of cases: Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, etc.
Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic; average travel about 100 miles per week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; no weekend rotation or on-call required.
Dress code: Scrubs
Charting: Proficiency required in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and OASIS (used within last 6 months or retraining required).

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon.
Minimum 1 year of recent Home Health experience within the last year, specifically working with adult patients.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and OASIS electronic medical record systems.
