Pharmacist Job Opportunity

Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 7 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call requirements outside regular hours, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays (rotating with other staff)

Job Responsibilities

• Clinical pharmacy duties
• Pharmacy operations
• Sterile compounding
• Use of EPIC and Omnicell systems (prior experience preferred)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Hospital Pharmacist license in Massachusetts
• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy License
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacist experience
• Hospital pharmacist experience within the last year

Housing

• Shared housing provided at no cost

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

Candidates must complete and provide documentation for the following prior to or upon start:

• Primary source verification of professional license (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)
• Health screenings and immunizations including:

  • MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity
  • TB test within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
  • Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 1 year
• FEMA ICS 100 Training (must be completed, no exceptions)
• Criminal background checks including:

  • National and state-level criminal history checks (including Massachusetts CORI) within 45 days prior to start
  • Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start and annually
  • Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days prior to start and annually
• Submission of:

  • Resume with past 7 years of work experience (including city and state)
  • Two professional references within 4 years (minimum one supervisor-level)
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year
  • Candidate submission coversheet
• Additional forms and agreements related to housing and assignment confirmation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC and Omnicell pharmacy systems
• Tdap vaccination within 10 years (preferred)
• Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity (strongly preferred)
