NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Tulsa, Oklahoma
Job Details

- Unit: 42-bed Level 3 NICU
- Shift: Nights
- Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 3 patients
- Call: Yes, 1 day per 6 weeks
- Float: Yes
- Weekends: Every other weekend
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma with primary source verification, including State License 1 Verification and NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- Minimum 1 year of recent NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) nursing experience
- Certifications required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- CHEMO certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- Tech Cert Verification - National
- Completion and acknowledgement of Orientation Safety Manual
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Compliance with physical exam, immunizations, mask fit testing, drug screening, background checks, and unit-specific competency requirements as applicable
Work Environment
- Level 3 NICU with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Night shift with call and float responsibilities
- Every other weekend work required
This position is ideal for NICU RNs with at least one year of experience seeking a travel contract in Tulsa, OK, who are comfortable with night shifts, call, and floating. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
