Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse
Location: Albany, Georgia
Contract Length: 17 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Acute Care (MedSurg) specialty
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- NIHSS certification required (both BLS and NIHSS must be AHA)
Job Details
- Unit size: 44 beds, staffed by 40 personnel
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both day and night shifts
- EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
- Nurse Aides/CNAs ratio: generally 1:8 to 1:10, also used as sitters
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts, start times between 6:45 AM and 7:15 AM
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday shifts: As needed
- Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
- Telemetry patients: Yes, but monitored on a different unit
- Floating: Yes, to all acute care and cardiology units, including emergency care for acute care patient holds
- Orientation: 1 week general orientation (includes EMR training), plus 2 days floor-specific orientation

- Strict 75-mile radius from the address on the traveler's driver's license to the hospital
- Four 12-hour shifts per week
