Registered Nurse - Psychiatry (Travel)

Location: Springdale, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for providing care to adult psychiatric patients. This role requires utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. Key responsibilities include:

Applying critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to plan and deliver safe patient care
Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arkansas
Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
