Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Potosi, Missouri
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Serve as an assessing therapist with a lighter caseload and take on some Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) responsibilities.
Attend morning and facility meetings and manage scheduling.
Provide strong leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA.
Oversee and ensure compliance with PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model) processes.
Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs for high-acuity patients.
Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
Experience in a leadership role within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) rehabilitation setting.
Knowledge of PDPM.
Valid Missouri State License for Speech and Language Pathology.
New graduates are not accepted for this position.

8-hour shifts, day schedule.
Orientation and onboarding included.
