Job Description
- Position: Interventional Radiology Tech (Days)
- Must have Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- Days, weekends, and call required
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
- Block scheduling accommodations possible
- Locals not accepted (50-mile radius rule applies)
- First-time travelers accepted
- Pending licenses are not accepted
- Return staff policy: Must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler
- Maximum of 2 contracts allowed (can extend once), then must be gone for 6 months before returning
- Call off policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment; after that, contracted hours are guaranteed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT registration required

- Facility type: Short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital
- Total staffed beds: 733
- Charting system: Epic
- Scrub color provided
- Various facility-specific documents and acknowledgments must be reviewed and signed prior to start (e.g., confidentiality, patient ID, code of conduct, professional appearance)
- Photo for badge required (passport-style, professional)
- Parking registration required if driving to work
- Modules must be completed prior to start

- Floating between like units may be necessary within scope
- Callouts for scheduled shifts must be made up as deemed necessary by the department
