Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: Livingston, New Jersey

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Role: Circulating Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Shifts: 3 shifts per week, each 12.5 hours
• Weekend Shifts: No scheduled weekends; on-call required 2 times per month (weekends only)
• On-call Shifts: Weekend call shifts are 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, and 10:30 PM–6:30 AM
• Float Policy: May float to Main OR after 2:30 PM
• Procedures involved: TAVRs, CABG, Laser Lead Extractions, Pericardial Window, Valve Replacements, Aortic Dissections
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Provided
• First-time travelers accepted
• Locals accepted
• Schedule accommodations and return-to-office requests must be approved prior to offer

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
