Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse

Location: Big Spring, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from general surgery, GI endoscopy, and post-operative procedures
Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts with weekend and weekday call requirements
Urgent need for qualified candidates

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum of 1 year of PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience, with recent experience within the last year
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
National Tech Certification verification
Acknowledgement of pass/fail competency testing
State license verification
NURSYS verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
