Job Description

• Position in a clinical office setting
• Work Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM
• Candidates must live at least 150 miles away from the facility to be considered

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT Registered
• Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License
• CPR - Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• MRT license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Compliance & Background Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 1 year of start; must be updated annually
• E-Verify or attestation required
• Various federal and state background screenings including HHS/OIG, EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start
• Education verification (transcript or diploma acceptable)
• State-specific employability and misconduct registry checks within 30 days of start

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start; must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
• Fit mask (3M 1860 Regular or 1860S) required; annual update needed
• Immunizations and titers required (must be current or documented):

  • TB test or chest X-ray (negative)
  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine (required during flu season; exemptions accepted)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen with THC within 10 business days prior to start; no pending results allowed

Additional Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific documents and acknowledgments prior to start (e.g., confidentiality, compliance, security agreements)
• Pass/Fail testing related to medication and pharmacology competency as applicable
• Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
• References: 2 required within 3 years of start
• Resume or employment application copy required
