Job Opportunity: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Day Shift)

Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide and administer nursing care to patients in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner
Follow proper nursing procedures in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan
Assess and interpret patient data to identify age-specific patient needs

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Colorado
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Cerner EMR experience required
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse
- Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Additional Information

Basic computer skills required
Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position
