Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech
Location: Oxford, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Wednesday-Friday shifts
Job Summary
Seeking an Ultrasound Tech with experience in Radiology/Cardiology. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the specialty.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in North Carolina.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including general ultrasound experience.
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year.
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Proof of identity with government-issued photo ID.
- Background check: 7-year criminal history, education verification, and other standard screenings.
- Verification of licensure through primary source.
- Physical exam attesting ability to meet job demands, updated annually.
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months prior to start
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or declination
- Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
- Varicella immunity or declination
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug test within the last 12 months.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season.
Additional Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety training.
- Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations.
- Employment application and skills checklist updated annually.
- Compliance with facility-specific policies and documentation.

- Flu vaccine exemptions require completion of facility-specific forms with supporting documentation.
