Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Care - Med-Surg Adult/Tele - Nights

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking an RN for Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation Unit on the night shift. The unit is experiencing increased patient census due to orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care using specialized knowledge related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Shift:

12-hour night shifts
Weekend rotation
Must participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift every 2 weeks as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
At least 3 years of RN Med-Surg experience, including Med-Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Acute Care experience
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility
Housing possibility: furnished studio apartments available nearby (subject to availability)
