Job Description

• Must have 2+ years of recent NICU experience.
• Position requires working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, including experience within the last year.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• Successful completion of pass/fail testing including EKG and medication/pharmacology competency exams.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Requirements

• Valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport).
• Completion of E-Verify or attestation.
• Completion of facility-specific documents including job description acknowledgment and security forms prior to start.
• Photo for badge (passport style preferred).
• Must pass medication and dysrhythmia/EKG competency exams with limited attempts allowed.
• Two professional references within the last 3 years required.

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Candidates should be prepared for competency testing and annual updates as required by the facility.
• Fit testing for masks will be completed onsite during orientation and updated annually.
