Description

Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Longview, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Days, 9 AM – 6 PM (Required to float, no call requirements)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Physical therapists (PTs) are licensed healthcare professionals who help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. They develop individualized treatment plans to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. PTs also create fitness and wellness programs to prevent loss of mobility and promote healthier lifestyles. Care settings include hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, schools, sports facilities, workplaces, and nursing homes.

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience
At least 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
