Job Description
Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel contract assignment. Candidates must meet all credentialing and compliance requirements prior to start.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred / Additional Certifications (may be required based on unit)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) for ER and Behavioral Health units
- NIH Stroke Certification for ER and specific hospital units
Notes
- Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination exemptions are considered for medical or religious reasons with appropriate documentation.
- Healthstream training and system access agreements must be completed as part of orientation.
- Candidates must comply with all facility-specific documentation and credentialing requirements prior to start.
