Description

Job Opportunity: Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

Location: Sault St. Marie, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 18 weeks

Job Description

Prepare and administer radioactive drugs (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients for imaging or therapy.
Operate specialized scanners (PET/CT) to produce diagnostic images.
Monitor patient safety and maintain strict radiation safety standards.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) experience.
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification.
Active Michigan license for Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Completion of 2 supervisory reference forms within the last two years.
Skills checklist and work history relevant to the specialty, current within 1 year.

Additional Information

Experience working with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Commitment to high-quality rural medicine and continuous quality improvement.
Emphasis on safety culture and high reliability in healthcare delivery.
