Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Location: Rockville, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position: Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech
Accepts RCIS certification if candidate has IR experience
Caseload ratio: 8-12 cases
Weekend requirement: 1 full weekend per month on call
On-call required approximately 7-10 days per month; STEMI call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation
No floating between units
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, no block scheduling
Start date: ASAP
Facility is tobacco and nicotine-free; any nicotine use will result in automatic cancellation

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Maryland
Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Technologist experience, including Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
RCIS certification or ARRT certification
Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
