Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details

Required Certifications
- Current Arkansas RN license
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CPEN (Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arkansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the Emergency Department (ED), including experience within the last year
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, CPEN
Job Responsibilities
- Assess patients and plan, evaluate, and provide nursing care
- Educate patients and families as needed
- Utilize appropriate resources to optimize patient care and flow
- Follow pain assessment policies and assist with pain management
- Participate in patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement programs
Additional Information
- Flu vaccination is required for all travelers (exemptions require approval)
- Dress code: Black scrubs
