Required Certifications

• Current Arkansas RN license
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CPEN (Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arkansas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the Emergency Department (ED), including experience within the last year
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, CPEN

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan, evaluate, and provide nursing care
• Educate patients and families as needed
• Utilize appropriate resources to optimize patient care and flow
• Follow pain assessment policies and assist with pain management
• Participate in patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement programs

Additional Information

• Flu vaccination is required for all travelers (exemptions require approval)
• Dress code: Black scrubs
