Description

Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Contract Position

Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Care for oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy and supportive care, as well as other treatment types.
Utilize acuity scale for staffing decisions.
Collaborate closely with oncology providers.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Performance expectations are set at Low/Mid/High levels; failure to meet expectations may result in immediate contract termination.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience, with oncology experience within the last year
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Advanced Trauma Training (ATT) certification
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification
Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
