Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Average daily census: 30 patients
  • Call required: 1-2 weekdays per week
  • Weekend shifts: Every 3rd or 4th weekend
  • First-time travelers accepted

Required Certifications

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Louisiana State License

Preferred Certification:

  • CCI RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Louisiana
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Current and valid Louisiana State License for Cath Lab Tech

  • Call required for onsite fit testing authorization if needed
  • COVID-19 medical or religious exemption forms available if applicable
