Description
Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 18 weeks
Job Description
- Weekend call requirements included.
- Call schedule: 1 day per week plus 1 weekend every ~4 weeks (subject to change).
- Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of experience required.
- Unit accepts first-time travelers.
- Clinical screening required to determine fit.
- Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days.
- Holiday work expectations: If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, traveler expected to work it; if 2 holidays, work both; if 3 holidays, work 2 of them.
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day.
- Full compliance required to start on time; delays in compliance may push start date by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling.
- Locals accepted at same rate.
- Orientation hours vary based on contract length.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist.
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year.
Additional Information
- Floating assignments may include coverage in main OR.
- Clinical screening and final manager approval required.
- Orientation and compliance requirements are strict; delays affect start date.
- Candidates must review and sign code of conduct and dress/professional appearance policies prior to start.
- Privileging requirements apply only to certain specialties (not applicable here).
- Candidates must complete all required documentation and certifications prior to or shortly after start date as specified.
This position is suitable for experienced CVOR Techs seeking a travel contract opportunity with weekend and call responsibilities in a surgical services setting. First-time travelers are welcome.
