Job Description
Seeking a Dietitian to provide dietary services in a mental health and recovery setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license in Virginia
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree required
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID required.
- I-9 verification required.
- E-Verify required.
- Background check: 7-year criminal history check within a year of start, updated annually.
- Drug screen within the last 12 months.
- Physical exam within the last 12 months.
- TB screening: Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable.
- Immunizations/vaccinations required or documentation of exemption for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Seasonal Flu (required during flu season)
- COVID vaccination preferred.
- Professional references: 2 required.
- Employment application/resume required.
- Skills checklist must be updated annually.
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Photo for badge (recent, professional, per guidelines).
- Confidentiality agreement, dress code policy, drug-free policy, safety brochure, hand washing hygiene policy acknowledgment.
- Various competency exams and testing as applicable.
- Additional facility-specific forms and acknowledgments to be completed prior to start.

- This position is for a travel/contract assignment in a mental health and recovery center.
- Locals are allowed to apply at the same rate.
