Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • You may be assigned to an "Emergency Team" during your assignment, requiring you to stay at the facility until the event passes or be part of a relief team.
  • On-call required with a 30-minute response time.
  • Scrub experience is required.
  • Neuro Interventional Radiology (IR) experience is required.
  • Candidates with 1 year of experience will be considered only if they have neuro and scrub experience.
  • Otherwise, a minimum of 2 years of experience is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Louisiana.
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
  • Scrub experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience required if less than 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.

Additional Information

  • Candidates must be prepared to comply with facility-specific emergency preparedness protocols, especially during hurricane season (June 1 - Nov 30).
  • Photo for badge must be a recent, full-color passport-style photo.
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification may be required depending on unit assignment.
  • Competency exams and color blind testing may be required depending on role specifics.
