Job Details

• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Schedule: Night shifts, including one Saturday night per week
• Unit: Intermediate Care (IMC)
• Charting System: Epic
• Average Daily Census: 12-16 patients
• Total Staffed Beds: 27
• Floating: Yes, within scope and to sister facilities as needed
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Local Radius Rule: Candidate must live more than 75 miles from the contracted facility
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 5 days allowed

Required Qualifications

• License: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Oklahoma
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Critical Care and Telemetry
  • Must have at least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience (first-timers not accepted)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • EKG Course / Telemetry test
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Other Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License and a utility bill in the candidate’s name with matching address dated within the last 3 months (address must be >75 miles from facility)
  • Physical exam within 1 year confirming good health and ability to perform job duties
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
  • Required immunizations and health screenings including flu vaccine, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and drug screening
  • Background checks including 7-year criminal history, education verification, and various federal/state sanction lists
  • Completion of facility-specific orientation and competency exams (medication, dysrhythmia/EKG, core parts I-III, conscious sedation, etc.)
  • Fit testing for N95 mask prior to or on first day onsite

Additional Information

• Candidates must provide 2 professional references from direct supervisors (one within 1 year, one within 3 years)
• Resumes must include the last 7 years of employment with explanations for any gaps over 30 days
• Skills checklist and competency exams must be current and updated annually
• Candidates must comply with facility policies including drug and alcohol-free workplace, ethical business conduct, and information access agreements
• COVID-19 vaccination is strongly preferred; declinations accepted with agency documentation
• Flu vaccination required annually unless approved exemption is on file
