Registered Nurse (Home Health)

Location: Elizabeth, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide home health nursing care covering 7 counties: Harrison, Barbour, Upshur, Lewis, Taylor, Doddridge, Wetzel.
• Work primarily between 2 RNs in a smaller geographic area.
• Manage approximately 5-6 patient visits per day within an 8-hour shift.
• Patient population includes terminally ill individuals in their homes or nursing facilities, with diagnoses such as cancer, heart disease, lung disease, and dementia (end-stage diseases).
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Orientation includes EPIC training and shadowing another patient care team member.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Possible rotation of 1 weekend day per month
• No holiday requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year of home health nursing experience within the last year
• Experience in a home health setting
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

• Mileage reimbursement provided at IRS rate
• Uniform: Royal Blue scrubs
• Work setting: Home health (outpatient and inpatient)
