Nursing House Supervisor - Nights

Job Description

The House Supervisor serves as the onsite administrative representative for clinical and managerial functions during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. This role involves leadership, consultation, and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. The House Supervisor acts as the primary backup for front managers in their absence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, leading, coordinating, and facilitating quality care and service from a hospital-wide, shift-specific perspective
• Addressing staffing issues, patient and family relations, risk management, clinical coordination, and patient placement
• Managing public affairs and communications, evaluation, and mentoring
• Ensuring appropriate distribution and allocation of supplies and equipment
• Providing adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver appropriate clinical services

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Nursing
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year in specialty
