Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: Pomona, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse position specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
Must have experience with scrub and circulate roles, including vascular and hybrid cases.
Types of cases include Cardiovascular, Vascular, Cardiac, Thoracic, Gynecological, General OR, and some Robotics.
Work schedule consists of staggered 10-hour shifts with on-call and weekend availability.
Call requirements include two 48-hour weekends and 14 weekday shifts within 6 weeks.
Regular worked hours alternate between 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
Charting experience with Cerner and PowerChart required.
Locals accepted with a rate differential.
First-time travelers accepted.
Scrubs provided.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year.
Operating Room (OR) experience.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
